About the Company
Brain Insights was founded in 2008 by Deborah McNelis, an educator, national speaker and author of, The Brain Development Series. As a result, Brain Insights leads the way in making early brain development common knowledge, thanks to the unique combination of inspiring brain presentations and the incomparable Brain Development Activity Packets in both English and Spanish.
As a company committed to making a positive and dramatic impact, Brain Insights has designed educational- science based initiatives and materials, that have reached numerous countries world-wide. The view of becoming a partner with each customer leads to our outstanding success in bringing exceptional support, stimulating information and guaranteed customer service.
Brain Insights is creating a real impact throughout the country and around the world through blogs, newsletters, webinars, magazine articles, radio shows, national conferences, trade and professional conventions, and also through the newly developed App.

Meet Deborah McNelis, Creator/owner of braininsights®
Deborah is an author, speaker, educator and parent. Her passion is to achieve the best possible outcome for all children. This focus started early and has not wavered. She is dedicated to making a difference through connecting with others who want to see positive change. 
It is Deborah's belief that every child has great potential that can be developed when we have an understanding of how children's brains develop. Deborah has devoted her life to providing programs and materials that create this awareness for parents and educators.
Deborah has taught kindergarten, and pre-school. She has also created an innovative community based program called, Family Network. This service provided information and resources to parents and educators by pulling the entire community together in support of the needs of families. She has been the coordinator of a family literacy program that provided high school completion and English as a second language, early childhood education and parent education, for in-need families. This included creating a jail parent program, a home tutoring program, and an at-risk teens parenting program.
She was an instructor for early childhood associate degree program for several years. She did advocacy work , as the early brain specialist for the Wisconsin Council on Children and Families, and conducted numerous presentations on early brain development for this non-profit agency.
Materials, new programs and initiatives have been created in all of these positions. Each focused on promoting the potential in learners. In addition Deborah has written several articles and newsletters, and has been interview on a variety of radio shows.
Deborah has a masters degree in Education from Carroll University. The emphasis of her work for this degree was on the impact of self perception.
Of all the work she has done Deborah is most overjoyed with the development of braininsights® due to impact this company is having worldwide on the awareness and importance of the early years. Her goal through this company is for EVERYONE to gain an understanding of early brain development, it's long lasting impact and the ways we can all make a positive difference.
